Teen Statistics
3 out of 4 teens believe God helps those who help themselves. Researchers say only 4% of teens in this generation will be bible believing Christians. Up to 90% of those who come to christ do so before they are 20.1 of 4 uses illegal drugs, and 1 of 3 has been drunk in the past month. 9 out of 10 have seen porn online. 1 million teen girls are pregnant, and 340,000 have abortions every year. 4 of 10 has inflicted pain on them selves. Numbers show that 35 % of adults are Bible believing Christians and at this rate that number will go down to 4%. 1500 commit suicide every year. one half are no longer virgins. There are 3 million teens suffering from alcoholism only in the U.S. Suicide is the 3rd leading cause of teen deaths. 1 of 3 high school and college students have been in an abusive relationship. Over 8 million new STD cases occur among teens each year. In 120 minutes there will be 160 dropouts. In 2 hours 120 of teens will run away from home, 480 will get high on pills, and 720 will catch a STD. These statistics are not easy to read and under stand but they are very much true. how do you feel about these statistics and what can people do to make some of theses statistics less

i believe this is true. teens dont really include religion in their life. I think they should include it because God coulf really help them through their teenage years. Especially teens going into college and have high school drama.

ReplyDeleteThese are really interesting statistics, and seem fairly accurate. I bet if more people knew about these statistics, more measures would be done to prevent some of them, and eventually lower these statistics.

that is amazing that the results are so low. It just goes to show how the lack of effort and interest is in the minds of teens in our world today. We need to strive to produce a more secular society and focus a little more on our faiths and beliefs. Without these actions being taken, we may have the end result of a world without faith. People will slowly lose the interest and the lack of that will produce a world who doenst show appreciation for what Christ did in his time on Earth for us to live.
ReplyDeleteto be honest as a fellow teen god is not important to most of us because it is force upon us at young age and is still forced upon us by are parents most teens go through a stage of hate and rage because their life is not going the way they want its not because of god but it is natural yes relgion can help but it can also make it worse because having faith god will do something for you is like haveing faith that the world is flat you must do things yourself in order to get thing done not relay on god for he just give advice and if you dont hear it or dont do its you own choice but it doesnt mean it is wrong to beleive in him and have faith its just wrong to relay on him for everything like most teens do
